Mindfulness bookshelf

If you’re looking for a no-nonsense book about Mindfulness then I highly recommend Mindfulness for Dummies by Shamash Alidina. It’s a great introduction to mindfulness and its benefits. It will show you how to develop a daily mindfulness practice. It also covers meditation, the problems you may encounter when meditating and how to overcome them. Very easy to read and with a touch of humour.

      1. Yeah I’d like that thanks so much. I’ve used things like headspace and other guided meditations but much prefer doing it my own.

Well, if you start with Shamash Alidina’s Mindfulness for Dummies that’s a great start. He led my mindfulness teacher training class. He’s got a great sense of humour.
