8-WEEK MINDFULNESS COURSE FOR STRESS REDUCTION
You can’t always change the stressful circumstances that you are living with, but you can learn how to reduce and manage your stress through mindfulness.
However,it can be difficult to find a suitable course nearby or for it to fit in with a busy timetable. So, I offer an 8-session (8-week) online mindfulness programme.
Each week we’ll meet online for an hour an a half, via Skype, to explore the theme for the week. You’ll be guided through a weekly meditation, learn about specific aspects of mindfulness and have the opportunity to discuss any questions you may have. Between sessions, you’ll practise what you learned that week, ensuring that your own mindfulness practice is built up gradually. You will also receive daily emails and have the opportunity to receive further support from my online Facebook Group or from myself as needed.
By the end of the course, you will have learnt how to step out of automatic pilot and into the present moment and know how to recognise the signs of your stress. You will be aware of and have practised the key mindfulness meditations and know which to use when facing difficult situations. You will have a greater understanding of how to approach and deal with difficult thoughts and emotions. Additionally, you will have developed a personal action plan to help you maintain your mindfulness practice at the end of the course. Maintenance classes are available when the course ends.
Whether you’re new to mindfulness meditation or are developing your own mindfulness practice, weekly/single one off sessions will help you stay on track. Sessions are 1:1, via Skype and are 30 minutes long.
