Mindfulness = “A mental state achieved by focusing one’s awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one’s feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations…”

Mindfulness teacher Jon Kabat-Zinn suggests that Mindfulness can be translated as Heartfulness, as in many Asian languages, mind and heart mean the same thing.

I love this idea as it really is difficult to separate the two.

Mindfulness is more than just meditation, it’s a way of life. It’s a cultivation of attitudes and daily habits that can improve our lives.

Mindful journalling is just one of the many ways we can connect with ourselves for a greater sense of peace and clarity.
