Online Course

We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think. (1)

Learn how to reduce and manage your stress/anxiety in 8-weeks through Mindfulness, one-to-one, online, from the comfort of your own home.

If you’re tired of feeling stressed/anxious/disconnected and unsure how to manage it, I’ve been there! I also know how difficult it can be to find a suitable course nearby or for it to fit in with a busy timetable. So, I offer an 8-session (8-week) online mindfulness programme.

Each week we’ll meet online for 45 minutes to 1 hour, via Skype, to explore the theme for the week. You’ll be guided through a weekly meditation, learn about specific aspects of mindfulness and have the opportunity to discuss any questions you may have. Between sessions, you’ll practise what you learned that week, ensuring that your own mindfulness practice is built up gradually. You will also receive daily emails and have the opportunity to receive further support from my online Facebook Group.

By the end of the course, you will have learnt how to step out of automatic pilot and into the present moment and know how to recognise the signs of your stress/ anxiety. You will be aware of and have practised the key mindfulness meditations and know which to use when facing difficult situations. You will have a greater understanding of how to approach and deal with difficult thoughts and emotions. Additionally, you will have developed a personal action plan to help you maintain your mindfulness practice at the end of the course.

Client Testimonial

As a long-time sufferer of anxiety and depression triggered by extended periods of heightened stress, the Go-to Mindfulness Stress Reduction Through Mindfulness Course greatly appealed! I had previously heard of mindfulness a great deal over recent years, even reading a book about it, learning that it is a good way of managing stress. Despite feeling generally positive about the ideas, I hadn’t done anything about it, so I thought that Jacqueline’s course sounded an excellent way to learn more and hopefully find a way of putting them into practise so that I could cope better with the stresses of life and stay well for longer periods.

I haven’t been disappointed, in fact I have learned about another, and perhaps the most effective strategy I have for coping with stress and maintaining my mental health. The ideas behind mindfulness aren’t rocket science, many of them could even be said to be common sense. The difference for me this time has been Jacqueline taking me through the ideas on a one-to-one basis, answering my (frequently) daft questions, and being encouraged to put the ideas into practise.

Jacqueline is a superb teacher. Not only is she knowledgeable, experienced and has a practical knowledge of mindfulness herself, she has also taken the time to sensitively understand where I have been coming from and then adapted the course material accordingly. As a result, she ensured that mindfulness has made the most sense to me in my personal situation. She has even researched how I could incorporate mindfulness in my interests and daily routines, for example, mindfulness while cycling.

I can’t claim that the course hasn’t been at times emotionally hard work or personally challenging – it most certainly has – and I must admit that I haven’t always succeeded in maintaining a mindful outlook or in keeping up a daily meditation practice. Nevertheless, I have felt tangible benefits from what I have learned and done.  Jacqueline has been encouraging, supportive and non-judgmental. She has even sent me short daily and very helpful emails as a friendly reminder to be mindful!

The course has been an excellent grounding in the ideas behind mindfulness and in the practical implementation of them. The course is an excellent starting point, a foundation that I can build on. Mindfulness is and will continue to have a significantly positive impact on my mental wellbeing and life in general, and this course, along with Jacqueline’s tutoring, has been key.
